Music Theory Mastery for Teachers

Music Theory Mastery for Teachers is a 10-week live online course for piano teachers who want to teach music theory with greater confidence, clarity and musical understanding. Through practical teaching approaches and the Music Theory Mastery Core Framework, participants strengthen their own theoretical knowledge while exploring how to teach theory both within instrumental lessons and as a more formal course of study, including preparation for exams such as Grade 5 Music Theory. The emphasis throughout is on making theory meaningful, musical and connected to sound, repertoire and real music-making.
